Every day that youth walk into the Ferguson Crestmont Boys & Girls Club they walk through those doors into a place where they know they will be valued, be heard, will have Fun, and grow! It is so important that Club and the land around it create an environment the members feel proud to be a part of.
The grounds around the Ferguson Crestmont Boys & Girls Club are in need of spring cleaning and we are in need of your help to make it excellent!
On Saturday, June 8th from 8:00 am - 11:00 am a team of amazing volunteers will meet at the Club. Volunteers may park in the parking lots by the Kenworthy Administration entrance at 803 N Monroe St, Bloomington, IN 47404.
What will we be doing?
- Weeding and mulching garden beds.
- Trimming hedges and trees.
- Picking up any trash off the property.
- Edging the grass.
- Making the green space around the Club wonderful!
What you need to bring.
- If you have landscaping tools we welcome them!
- If you do not have any tools, that's ok too.
- Garden or work gloves if you own some can be a good idea.
- If you have a home for yard waste in your home wood pile or compost and have a truck to haul them away, bring it!
- A water bottle to stay hydrated.
- The building will be open to access the kitchen and bathroom as needed.
