It's time to stuff our shelves again for our Mobile Food Pantry. Help us with our important food-raising event. Our pantry serves hundreds of home-bound individuals in Monroe and Owen counties by delivering supplemental groceries to them each month.
We have our Stuff-a-Bus with non-perishable food items event scheduled for Saturday April 13th. We have volunteers collecting food at four Kroger locations from 8 am to 2 pm. We need some volunteers to help with collecting donated food items at certain Kroger locations:
East (1175 S. College Mall Rd.) -- 8-11 am and 11-2 shift
South (4025 S. Old St. Rd. 37) -- 8-11 am and 11-2 shift
North (1825 N. Kinser Pike) -- 8-11 am and 11-2 shift
West (500 W. Liberty Dr.) -- 8-11 and 11-2 shift
And we need help with unloading and sorting the donated items at one of our pantry locations from 2:15ish - 4. Location is at Area 10 Agency, 631 W. Edgewood Dr. Ellettsville. Many hands make light work.
