Are you a working, retired or apprentice electrician who wants to help install a solar system? No previous solar-specific experience is required. You will learn to apply your existing skills by working closely with ISFA’s Electrical crew lead, a Purdue-trained electrical engineer.
We are looking for people who have some or all of knowledge and skills listed below:
- Read an electrical diagram
- Understand how an inverter works
- Test and monitor power supply and flow
- Install AC circuit breakers in a residential breaker box
- Bend conduit pipe
- Install a junction box, AC conduit, and switches
- Run Ethernet Cat-5 cables
