Foster families and especially kinship placements (all those grandmas and other relatives who are raising their grandchildren) need our help to keep providing their vital service to our community! The Foster Closet gives free children’s and teens’ clothing to all the kids in these families as well as families in shelters and other needy kids.
To do that, we need your help! Do you have gently-used children’s or teens’ clothes, toys, books, and/or baby equipment (strollers, high chairs, etc.) that you could donate? Everything we provide to families is free.
Here’s what we need:
- Girls' and Boys' winter pants, sizes 2-12
- Girls’ and boys’ clothes, gently used, from sizes newborn to 18 and teen/adult clothes in sizes L-XL in styles that teens would wear
- New underwear and socks, any size
- Winter jackets in any children’s or teen’s size
- Toys (especially those that encourage development, without requiring batteries, which many of our families can’t afford), children’s and teens’ books
- Baby blankets, strollers, high chairs, and other baby equipment in good condition
