The Health Department, along with the Monroe County Public Health Clinic, is planning a drive-through flu vaccine clinic for the community. The clinic will take place on November 19th from 12pm-3pm, although with set-up and tear-down, the full schedule will be 10:30am-4:30pm. It will be held at City Church at 1200 N Russell Rd, Bloomington. We will need volunteers to fill a variety of roles that could include: registration, traffic control, greeting/triage, screening, etc. If you have a medical license, we may need assistance with screening or dispensing, so please let me know if that is the case.
This will be outside for the duration of the clinic. Social distancing and masking will be practiced. The duties may include standing for long periods of time, walking back and forth between stations, and lifting/carrying heavy objects.
If you are interested in assisting, you will need to complete a brief online training if you have not participated in a Monroe County Health Department point of dispensing (POD) previously.
If interested, please email monroemrc@co.monroe.in.us for registration information.
