The Lee Norvelle Theatre and Drama Center offers a chance to see free shows by serving as ushers. Ushers are the first people most of our patrons meet face to face. Therefore, we need to provide the best possible service. We want ushers to have a good time meeting the audience with an enduring smile, and great spirits.

Ushers do not need to be students, or even have an IU connection. Anyone over the age of 16 is welcome to be an usher. Those who are younger than 16 may be accepted if ushering with an adult. Contact our House Manager for more information.

Loosely based on Euripides' tragedy Medea, this provocative drama set on the bleak ghostly landscape of the Bog of Cats discloses one woman's courageous attempts to pay claim to that which is hers, as her world is torn in two. Hester Swane, an Irish Traveller, attempts to come to terms with a lifetime of abandonment in a furious uncompromising tale of greed and betrayal, memory and self-sacrifice.
