New Usher Orientation & Training
The Buskirk-Chumley Theater's next monthly Usher Training and Orientation will be on Friday, October 11th at 6:30pm. The training session will last two hours.
You don't need to bring anything, but please wear comfortable shoes since we will be standing and walking around the theater a lot. During the training session, we will go over a brief background of the theater, the roles of ushers, emergency evacuation procedures, expectations the theater has of ushers, the arrangement of seating sections, and how to sign up to usher. We will also take a tour of the theater.
Minimum age is 18. Teens 15-17 can apply to be an usher by submitting a short essay about why they would like to become a BCT usher. Please submit the essay to events@buskirkchumley.org before attending the training.
While RSVPing is not required, we will cancel the training two days in advance if fewer than 2 people have RSVP'd.
