We are looking for volunteers who would like to encourage conversation during our Donuts and Dialogue event from 5:45-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 25 at the Monroe County Public Library on Kirkwood.
During this event we will have topics of conversation participants can choose from, ranging from easy (“My favorite hobby is …”) to more difficult (“A time I felt vulnerable was …”).
We will pair up people, and have them discuss their chosen topics for eight minutes, then rotate. We would like volunteers to help new participants to select topics, hand out donuts, show people dropping in how to begin, and to help encourage discussion and connections.
