Description

Do you enjoy spending time with young children? Are you looking for a place where you can share your hobby or professional skills with younger generations?

If you answer, “yes”, you are perfect for volunteering at Indiana University Campus Children’s Center (CCC).

CCC is an IU affiliated childcare facility that serves young children from zero to five years old. Nurturing children’s social and emotional growth is one of our major goals and we would love to have local seniors help us do our job. We are looking for seniors who can volunteer in the Toddlers Room (10 children age between 1 and 2 years old), Twos Room (10 children age between 2 and 3 years old), or in the preschool room (20 children age between 3 and 5 years old). Our current senior volunteers enjoy playing and reading, and occasionally working on projects with the children.

We have steps you can follow to become a volunteer, including a specific background check required by Indiana University. Please contact Michiru Oleson: mioleson@Indiana.edu
