Murder Mystery Volunteers - February 16, 2018
Date: February 16th, 6:30 pm - 10:30 pm
Location: The Fields (1333 S Fenbrook Lane, Bloomington IN 47401)
Chicago mobsters have stolen a chocolate statue and a murder ensues at LifeDesigns Inc.’s Week of Chocolate live-action murder mystery fundraising event on February 16 at The Fields. Guests will immerse themselves in the Prohibition theme to become a character in the mayhem - helping their team solve the crime and win prizes. VOLUNTEER SHIFTS
Event volunteers will fill two shifts including setup, game and auction attendees, and event check out to support this fun fundraiser. Minimum age is 21. Please contact Hazel Catron at 812-332-9615 or hcatron@lifedesignsinc.org.
Set Up 9:00 am - 6:30 pm (4-6 Needed)
- Arrive at LIFEDesigns to help transport items and event supplies to The Fields
- Set up dinner tables and place chairs at all tables
- Set up tables for food, auction, bar, & registration
- Place linens on all tables
- Arrange centerpieces on tables
- Put name cards on tables
- Lay out auction items on table
- Breaks will be allowed
-If volunteers cannot be present the entire time, intermittent help through out the day is welcomed
Guest Registration & Check Out 6:00 pm - 10:30 pm (4 Needed)
Before the Game begins
- With the Murder Mystery Writing Team, help put drink tickets and bid numbers in registration packets
- Give guests their registration packets as they enter
- Explain the bid numbers to guests, & invite them to visit biddingowl.com to place bids on auction items
- Be available for questions' regarding the auction and general event inquires
- Have information about LIFEDesigns available to educate attendees
During the Game
- Sell drink tickets to attendees after they have used their 2 free drink tickets
- Be available for questions regarding the auction
- Have information about LIFEDesigns available to educate attendees
Check Out
- Check out guests
- 1 volunteer can accept cash/checks
- 3 volunteers can accept debit/credit using square readers
Tear Down 10:30 pm - 12:00 am (4-6 Needed)
- Take all centerpieces and linens off tables and pack up to return them
- Tear down all tables and put away
- Put all chairs back in the closet
- Take out the trash
