The Boys and Girls Clubs of Bloomington Butterfly Kisses Dance is in need of volunteers.
The Butterfly Kisses Dance is a free semi-formal dance for girls and their father or father figure. This year's dance is Polynesian-themed and is on Saturday April 8 at the Warehouse (1525 S Rogers Street).
From 12 p.m. - 4 p.m., volunteers will assist with set-up and decorating.
From 4 p.m.-9 p.m. volunteers will check-in the fathers and daughters, assist with parking needs, and lead activities such as a hula-hoop competition, bracelet-making, and coconut bowling. After the event volunteers will then assist with tear-down and clean up.
20 volunteers are requested for the set-up shifts, and 40 are needed during/after the event. Volunteers are more than welcome to work more than one shift. Minimum age is 18. Please contact Rachel at rdobias@indiana.edu to sign up or for more information.
