The Community Justice and Mediation Center (CJAM) is offering a 40-hour training program for community members interested in learning about conflict resolution, mediation, and restorative justice. If you are interested in enhancing your communication, listening, and problem solving skills, along with learning basic mediation and negotiation skills, this could be a great opportunity for you. The training offers hands-on skill development combining role plays, exercises and lecture. Completion of the training qualifies participants to become volunteer mediators with CJAM. Dates are: September 15, 16, 22, 23 & 29: 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuition is $300 ($275 if received by August 27th). Limited scholarships are available.
