VIPAWS OPEN HOUSE AUGUST 25
We are seeking dedicated, responsible, professional volunteers with well-behaved pets to go through training to become registered VIPaws Therapy Animal Teams.
If you feel connected to the community, have the desire to contribute, and have a well-behaved dog with a calm and pleasant disposition, this program is for you. Practice classes will elevate your dog’s obedience skills to an advanced level of compliance to offer a safe, pleasant interaction to someone in the community who really appreciates it. In this therapy work, you and your dog additionally become ambassadors for role model handling and how a well-behaved pet should look like.
A VIPAWS Open House will be held from 4-6 p.m. on August 25th at the MCHA Veterinary Clinic in Ellettsville, 4635 West Richland Plaza Drive. The Open House will be an informal setting with Program Overview, an opportunity to ask questions, as well as review program and training requirements. Due to limited space, this is a Humans-only event. Minimum age is 18 unless accompanied by an adult. No RSVP is required to attend - drop-in's welcome!
