This training is a prerequisite for those interested in volunteering with our agencyand is also very appropriate for anyone interested in learning more about the dynamics of gender and domestic violence. Middle Way House is seeking to train new volunteers to help maintain the level of service that they provide to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Both women and men are strongly encouraged to attend the training event. There are volunteer opportunities in many different program areas including: crisis line, childcare, tutoring, legal advocacy, community reception, and youth mentoring. This training is a prerequisite for those interested in volunteering with our agency, but it is also very appropriate for anyone interested in learning more about the dynamics of gender and domestic violence.
