Taste of East Africa

Learn to make exotic food, decorate with bright banners, assist with tickets while guests arrive. The seventh annual Taste of East Africa will be hosted by Kilimanjaro Education Outreach (KILEO) is a family-friendly benefit where you'll enjoy an East African buffet dinner, traditional music and art, a silent auction-and more! This family-friendly benefit will take place atHarmony School, 909 East 2nd Street, Bloomington, IN 47401. Proceeds from the Taste will help support education in East Africa. KILEO, a registered non-profit organization, has been helping children from remote villages and urban slums. Aiding a school for disabled children as well as orphans from a ferry disaster. Tickets sold at BCT Box Office (www.bctboxoffice.com) Volunteers choose a three-hour shift on day of event or the day before. Volunteers will work in shifts between 3-7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7 to help with set up.
