Ranch Maintenance Crew:
Love cats and enjoy working with your hands? Our Ranch Maintenance Crew helps keep our property safe, functional, and comfortable so our cats can thrive in a well-maintained sanctuary.
This hands-on role plays a key part in caring for the spaces our cats call home, from cozy indoor rooms to our outdoor acreage.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Helping steward and maintain The Ranch’s 12-acre property
Taking the lead on indoor and outdoor maintenance projects
Building and improving cat spaces (e.g. catios, shelves, enrichment features)
Maintaining and caring for our cat memorial garden
Power washing
Small engine repair
Mowing and basic landscaping
Taking on special projects that match your skills and interests
Pitching in on creative problem solving (“redneck engineering” encouraged!)
Time Commitment:
Flexible and task-based. Volunteers can help with one-time projects or ongoing needs as their schedule allows.
Ideal Volunteers:
We are looking for folks who meet the following criteria
Enjoy hands-on work and take pride in building and/or fixing things
Self-motivated and able to take the lead on a variety of projects
Have skills in maintenance, construction, landscaping, or trades
Appreciate a little creativity and problem-solving
Want to make a meaningful impact on the lives of rescue cats
