FOOD DRIVE TRANSPORT VOLUNTEER

MLK Day - January 19th, 2026

1:30pm - 3:00pm

Every year on MLK day, Stone Belt hosts a food drive at a few local Krogers. People with disabilities encourage shoppers to pick up a few items while they shop and donate them. All food donations then go to Community Kitchen for their food pantry.

WE NEED YOU TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN! 

We need 2 volunteers who can make a couple trips and load donations from Kroger locations into their car, and drive donations to Community Kitchen.

What you need:

1. A vehicle that can carry about 6 carts of groceries. If you have a 4 door sedan that is completely cleaned out and available to groceries, this will work.

2. Ability to carry groceries.

On the day of, you will first meet at Stone Belt's location - 2815 E. 10th St. Bloomington, IN 47408. You will get more specific instructions and then be sent on your way.
