Meal Preparation Volunteer Opportunity
Volunteers will assist our team offsite at OneWorld Kitchen Share in prepping food for meals that will be served in the future. Volunteers may be asked to clean up dishes as well.
As renovations take place at Wheeler Mission--Bloomington's Westplex Avenue campus, our team will be preparing all of our meals at OneWorld's Kitchen Share on the northside of Bloomington. This particular opportunity is unique in terms of timing, location, and its temporary nature.
Entrance and Sign In
- Location: OneWorld Kitchen Share: 2361 W. Rappel Ave., Bloomington, IN 47404
- Parking: You may park in the lot in front of OneWorld Kitchen Share. Just look for a large number of vehicles upon arrival.
- Entrance: Look for the garage door/delivery dock on OneWorld Kitchen Share's eastside of the facility, and a Wheeler Mission--Bloomington team member will be on the lookout for you to greet you and to show you our meal preparation area.
Other Information
- Dress code: Please wear close-toed shoes.
- Personal belongings: Please leave belongings in a locked vehicle and out of sight. Wheeler Mission--Bloomington is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
- Be Flexible: We ask that you come to your scheduled volunteer time with a patient heart and extend flexibility if your opportunity does not go as anticipated!?
