'We Are You' is hosting an open interview afternoon, where anyone can come out to be interviewed, find out other ways to help us bring the community together, or just get to know us.
'We Are You' is striving to reverse dehumanization through the stories, experiences, and images of individuals who feel marginalized. We know that education and exposure to people on a human level reduces stereotypes and prejudices. You can help by sharing your story with one of our interviewers.
The interviews take between 20-45 minutes, depending on how much you want to say. We would also take some photos, and this takes between 5-15 minutes depending on what kind of photo you would like to represent you. When possible we do the interview and photos back to back, so you don’t have to meet with us more than once. We can send you the photos if you would like to choose your favorite, and we will let you make final edits to your transcript before anything is published.
