Serving the Indiana counties of Monroe, Lawrence, Owen, Greene, Morgan, Jackson, Brown, and Bartholomew since 1970.
SAS sponsors and hosts Monthly Bird Outings; Bird Feeder Cleaning - Spring and Fall; Ducks and Donuts - Spring and Fall; Chimney Swift Tower Project; International Crane Foundation Education and Support; Great Backyard Bird Count Classroom Support; Educational Outreach; Christmas Bird Count; Bloomington Bird Fest
