About Us
Opportunity House is a volunteer-run resale store that sells items donated by Bloomington community members.
Money raised from sales goes to support the programs of Btown Pathways (formerly MCUM) including their nationally accredited income-based early childhood center and self-sufficiency center.
What We Do
Opportunity House sells gently used clothing, books, household, antiques, toys and other items at low prices we believe everyone can afford. Seriously, most of our regular priced items are $4 or less!
We “reduce, reuse, and recycle” and we are local. Clothes that we can't sell, but are still wearable, get donated to other local organizations that allow community members to take what they need.
Our team of dedicated, award-winning, volunteers keep the store running smoothly by taking on a wide variety of tasks throughout the week. Anything from pricing to cashiering, sorting to ironing, data entry to stocking we have a spot for you.
Join our team of amazing volunteers! High school and colleges students welcome!
