The mission of Giving Back to Africa is to educate and empower young people in the Democratic Republic of Congo enabling them to become agents of change in their community and country. Giving Back to Africa envisions young people as catalysts for positive social change. We work with students grades 5th through 12th grades and their teachers. We facilitate peer-to-peer teacher training called Teacher Learning Circles, that allow for teachers to learn from each other and grow together as a community.
