Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
The First Nations Educational & Cultural Center (FNECC) supports American Indian and indigenous students in their transition to and achievement at Indiana University Bloomington with campus programs and an extended network of resources and information designed to inspire, encourage, and empower students for success.
Opened in April 2007, the FNECC is administered by the Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs (OVPDEMA). We are a central part of the diversity initiatives at IU Bloomington, which has a long history of advancing excellence through the transformative power of educational programs, recruitment, and outreach for students from every race and ethnicity.
