The Hoosier Hills Food Bank is welcoming volunteers back into its programming starting with individuals and small groups to assist with cleaning, sorting, stacking, and staging available food for agencies to select and load.
The Hoosier Hills Food Bank relies heavily upon volunteer support to complete its mission.
Small groups of 3-4 people are needed between 1-2:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays to help with the staging of food products for pick up by agencies. The minimum age is 18 for both opportunities. Volunteers must also be prepared and willing to lift up to 40 lbs. and to work with diverse groups of people and maintain a positive attitude, including staff, donors, students, youth, seniors, developmentally-challenged volunteers.
