At Stone Belt Arc we strive to prepare, empower, and support people with intellectual/developmental disabilities live their best life in partnership with the community. Learning to read is a skill that not everyone has mastered, yet a goal that they still strive for.
The Reading Volunteer would sit alongside adult/s with disabilities one-on-one and together work on reading skills. Volunteer opportunities are available Monday - Friday 9am - 3pm. This is an ongoing weekly or bi-weekly (every other week) volunteer opportunity. Ideally volunteer shift would be a minimum of 1.5 hours.
