Admin Building Host Needed

At New Hope for Families, our admin building serves as the front door to our agency and houses our Early Learning Center.  Our Admin Building Host volunteers help us welcome guests, answer phone calls from potential shelter clients and community members with questions about donations, process in-kind donations we receive, provide clerical support to our admin staff, and help keep our front entry and admin spaces looking clean and tidy.  A successful Admin Building Host would feel comfortable using a laptop and Google (Gmail, Drive), including logging caller information into a Google spreadsheet while on the phone. This volunteer role is for adults age 18 and up.

Volunteers should expect to commit to a shift of 2 - 4 hours per week for a minimum of 3 months.  We are currently seeking to fill volunteer shifts during these times (subject to change):

  • Tuesdays between 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Wednesdays between 12:30 - 5:30 PM
  • Thursdays between 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM
