Description

If you love to garden, you know how something as simple as a flower can make a difference in someone’s day. During this season of greenery and sun, help to plant seeds of community and hope for your homeless neighbors!

The Shalom Community Center strives to be a welcoming, friendly, and beautiful place for Bloomington’s most vulnerable people, and our community plays an important role in that! We are looking for a GROUP OF VOLUNTEERS 18 years or older who have experience gardening or landscaping to refresh our front lawn and plant flowers to brighten our space.

So, if you are interested in keeping our center vibrant and beautiful, please contact our Volunteer Coordination team!

Tory Crowe, Beacon Volunteer Coordinator - tory@beaconinc.org
Wren Wasson, Shalom Center Intern -
iuintern@beaconinc.org

Come and see the direct difference you can make when you volunteer with Beacon, Inc. Together, we can all be a Beacon of light!
