the City of Bloomington Volunteer Network (BVN) is searching for outstanding volunteers for ongoing and one-time BVN support roles to support the 2026 Be the Change 100,000 Hours Challenge. Volunteers 18 years and older are welcome, hours TBD based on volunteer availability.
- One-time roles include-
- Events- set-up, support, tear-down
- Outreach/Tabling- set-up, support, tear-down
- Ongoing roles include-
- Photographers/Videographers- help capture images of volunteers in action, event/outreach tabling, and special programs
- Social Media Content Creation - help plan, create, and schedule social media content for the Bloomington Volunteer Network's Facebook and Instagram pages.
- BVN Newsletters/Weekly Features- assist with social media, spotlight features, etc.
- Volunteer Service Awards- volunteer assistance, hours approvals, event planning
- Resource Page- assist with the development and implementation of community resources lists for the BVN website
