MALL Needs Space!
Mobility Aids Lending Library is a Bloomington-based 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that collects donated medical equipment and distributes it to those in need. MALL provides an average of 7 clients per week with wheelchairs, shower chairs, walkers, and other equipment free of charge -- and the need is only increasing. MALL needs room to grow!
Thanks to so many of our community members who have donated devices, we have outgrown our rented room in the basement of the First Christian Church. Sadly, with our current limited space, we often have to turn down larger items such as Hoyer lifts and hospital beds, and we can only accept a few power wheelchairs and mobility scooters at a time. But with your help, we can change this!
MALL is seeking a donated or low-cost office space that is at least 800 ft.² to accommodate equipment storage and a small office/client meeting area. We would be open to a space in a shopping mall, strip mall, office building, climate-controlled warehouse, etc. However, a self-storage facility wouldn’t work for our needs.
Our office must be centrally located and near a bus line as many of our clients and volunteers do not drive. Downtown, campus, or the College Mall area would be ideal. We strongly prefer a space on the first floor with no elevator required for access. If possible, we need space in a building with a parking lot or ample street parking nearby.
If anyone has suggestions for such a space — and for funding/sponsorship for our growth, of course – please contact us at

Thank you!
