In the U.S., approximately 1 in 5 children under the age of 18 live in poverty, shouldering more than they should have to. Communities In Schools works directly inside schools, building relationships that empower students to succeed inside and outside the classroom.

We need you!
Communities in Schools-Templeton is seeking reliable and responsible volunteers to come to Templeton Elementary and work one-on-one or in small groups with 1st through 6th-grade students tutoring in literacy. Read the attached Volunteer Orientation PDF before reaching out.
If you're interested in tutoring at Templeton, let us know what shift you're interested in. The shifts listed below are the earliest starting dates available. We are not seeking one-time volunteers. You are selecting a regular time to tutor with us for a reoccurring shift. You can commit to whatever two days a week you'd like. If you are interested in a certain reoccurring shift but the start date has passed or you need to start later than that, let us know. We would still love to have you!
