Wapehani Mountain Bike Park Weed Wrangle Sat July 24, 2021 ~ 9:30am to 11:30am. Help preserve native habitat alongside trails. Invasive plants degrade our environment, harm our soil biota, creeks, water quality and reduce habitat and food source for insects, birds and other wildlife. Learn by hands-on experience to remove and control Asian bush honeysuckle and Purple wintercreeper. Tools including hand saws, loppers, clippers and puller bear will be supplied by MC-IRIS.org and City of Bloomington Parks & Rec. Wear gloves, long pants, closed in sturdy shoes.
