The Monroe County Youth Council is excited to welcome Bloomington High School North graduate and local and national social activist Caleb Poer for a facilitated online discussion about teen activism.

Caleb Poer is a passionate young activist, Bloomington High School North graduate,  and current Indiana University student. His activism for many causes, from gun control to racial justice, has been featured in the media, including a spotlight in Bloom Magazine, and the Indiana Daily Student.  He has been honored as one of Bloom's Black Leaders of Tomorrow, and as the City of Bloomington's 2017 Young Black Leader of Tomorrow. He was also profiled this summer on the Ordinary Hoosiers video series.

Event participants will be given the opportunity to submit a question for Caleb and to participate in topic-focused breakout rooms exploring the issues around social justice and activism.
