Join Mother Hubbard's Cupboard in the HUB Pantry Garden. In MHC's community gardens, we grow fruits and vegetables organically for our food pantry. Garden novices and experts of all ages are welcome. Tasks include planting, weeding, turning compost, and generally enjoying working together in the garden. Our home pantry garden at 1100 West Allen St. allows us to showcase a wide variety of food gardening techniques to MHC pantry patrons and community members. This garden includes an edible food forest, accessible raised beds, container plantings, as well as on-site composting and worm composting.
From April to October our regular workday schedule will be:
- Wednesdays: 4pm-6pm at the HUB Pantry Garden
- Fridays: 11am-1pm at the HUB Pantry Garden
