Course Dates:

Saturday Series from 9am to 5pm – May 6, 20 & June 3 (bring a lunch – fridge & microwave available)

You must attend all sessions to receive credit for the class.

Location:

Monroe County Highway Garage - 5900 W Foster Curry Drive, Bloomington, IN 47403

*The training room is located on the second floor so applicant will need to be able to handle stairs.

CERT Overview

CERT Basic Training is designed to prepare you to help yourself and to help others in the event of a catastrophic disaster. Because emergency services personnel will not be able to help everyone immediately, you can make a difference by using your CERT training to save lives and protect property.

Upon Completion:

  • Receive certification of completion and CERT pack (Monroe County residents only).
  • Enroll as CERT team member and participate in quarterly meetings/refresher training.
  • Volunteer as you are needed/able.
