The Hoosier Hills Food Bank is hosting “Fresh Friday” food distributions from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Friday, September 4 & 18.
SMALL GROUPS NEEDED!
National Guard members have helped with this distribution during the summer but are no longer available. Volunteer help is needed!
Small groups of 5-7 people per shift are needed to fill in for these two Fridays in September. Groups can claim the full day shift from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. or split it into two shifts with up to 7 people each from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or 12:30-3:00 p.m. Volunteers must be able to lift 30 pounds frequently during the shift. A minimum of 5 people are required per shift.
These distributions will take place OUTSIDE under small tents at the food bank on Industrial Park Drive. Water, electric fans, and masks will need to be worn during the distribution (HHFB can provide those as well).
