Hoops Hysteria is a FREE basketball shooting contest that is open to boys and girls, 6 to 13 years of age. Kids pair up with an adult- a parent, a grandparent, a neighbor, or even a Boys and Girls Club staff member.
In each round, two teams, on opposite sides of the court, have 2-minutes to score as many points as possible. Specific markers on the gym floor are worth various points.
Team members alternate shots and are responsible for their own rebounds. The team that scores the most points, moves on in the tournament in their age bracket.
The event will be held at the Ferguson Crestmont Club on Saturday, November 16th from 10AM-5PM.
Volunteer shifts will be either 2 hours or 4 hours with options of helping with; check-in/out, parking, refreshments, score keeping, score running, and small games/activities.
