Bloomington Pridefest is our annual celebration of Pride, held once students return to Bloomington. We have opportunities for all ages, with accessible roles and accommodations for those who need them.
Duties: Range from set-up, assisting with grounds crew, vendors, merch booths, family zone activities, tear down, ID checks, and other tasks.
If you're new to volunteering this is a great event for you! Leading up we'll keep you informed via email with comprehensive info and details about your task, and day-of we'll meet in a central location to make sure everyone is accounted for and comfortable with their role. There will be plenty of support if you have questions and together we'll have a great time!
All volunteers will receive a limited edition t-shirt and have access to our volunteer lounge the day of the event - stocked with refreshments and treats.
Age of Volunteers: 16 and up, unless accompanied by a parent.
Volunteers will be required to attend a (hybrid) pre-event orientation. Group sign-ups are permitted. Each person must volunteer separately via this form, and indicate the organization you are associated with in the relevant question below.
