For this World Rivers Day, spend time giving back by helping clear debris and invasive species along Clear Creek in Switchyard Park. We’ll provide trash bags and gloves; you bring the enthusiasm and love for streams. Together we will help keep our waterways litter-free! Participants should wear long-pants, closed-toe shoes, and expect to get wet. This is a rescheduled event from the 9/22 cleanup that was rained out.
Duties: Help clear away litter from the creek in Clear Creek. Park in the Walnut Street lot and meet at the bridge behind the Main Performance Stage in Switchyard Park.
Training: On-site training is provided.
Age of Volunteers: All Ages (Volunteers under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.) Volunteers under the age of 18 must have an Underage Waiver of Liability signed by a parent or guardian. CLICK HERE to complete our digital waiver.
