Description

You'll be weeding for wildlife, preparing the garden beds for pollinators to thrive, and leaving the leaves in place for invertebrates to complete their life cycle.

Duties: Volunteers will be bending, hiking, climbing as needed, and using sharp tools. Gloves and tools are provided.

Inclement Weather Plan: Weather: This is an outdoor event. If the weather seems questionable, please plan to show up regardless, and the on-site supervisor can decide whether to move forward with the event. Attire: Casual. Volunteers should wear clothing that they don’t mind getting dirty and that is appropriate for the weather. Long pants are recommended. For safety reasons, we also require all volunteers wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes; sandals provide little protection for the wearer’s feet and are not permitted. What to Bring: If you have work gloves, bring them with you. We also recommend a filled water bottle to stay hydrated.
