Community Orchard Work & Learn Days

Are you interested in helping your community? Come join us at the Bloomington Community Orchard. The Orchard will be holding weekly workdays to enhance and maintain the Orchard. Starting Saturday, April 4th. April -May: Sat. 1:00-4:00 p.m. June - August: Wed., 5:00-8:00 p.m. September - November: Sat. 1:00-4:00 p.m. Each workday contributes to the growth of the Orchard by focusing volunteers on various tasks such as; weeding, mulching, pruning, and general maintance of the nearly 100 diverse fruit trees and plants. Without the generorsity of community volunteers the Orchard wouldn't be where it is today. Workdays are open house style, so join us when you are able. There is no need to register! Just come on by and we'll show you what to do. They are open to people of all ages, abilities, and experience. Food and drinks to share are always greatly appreciated if you are interested in providing food for the workday's hard workers. Please come on out and enjoy some delicious food, meet new friends, and contribute to the growth of your Orchard! See you Saturday! Please schedule large groups in advance.
