It's time to stuff our shelves again for our Mobile Food Pantry. Help us with our important food-raising event. Our pantry serves hundreds of home-bound individuals in Monroe and Owen counties by delivering supplemental groceries to them each month.
Our Stuff-a-Bus with non-perishable food items event is Saturday, April 11th, and we need help from great folks to cover the following shifts and locations. We have volunteers collecting food at four Kroger locations from 9 am to 2 pm. Then, we need volunteers helping to unload and sort the donations from 2:15 to 4 pm.
Here are the specific locations and needs:
Kroger East (1175 S. College Mall Rd.) -- 9-11:30 am and/or 11:30-2 shifts
Kroger South (4025 S. Old St. Rd. 37) -- 9-11:30 am and/or 11:30-2 shifts
Kroger North (1825 N. Kinser Pike) -- 9-11:30 am and/or 11:30-2 shifts
Kroger West (500 W. Liberty Dr.) -- 9-11:30 am and/or 11:30-2 shifts
Area 10 Agency on Aging (garage/pantry at 631 W. Edgewood Dr. Ellettsville) -- 2:15-4 pm
