Just One Day of Your Life Can Change Someone Else's Forever

The American Red Cross and the Monroe County Fire District will be installing free smoke alarms in a neighborhood in Bloomington, Saturday, May 3, 12:00-3:00 PM and we need volunteers to join us!

Meet at the Fire Station at 2130 S Kirby Rd at 12:00 PM to train to install and provide home fire safety education. Teams will be given a route map and supplies to install free alarms.    

To join us, RSVP to Mary Boutain at the American Red Cross, mary.boutain@redcross.org. No experience is necessary. Must be 18 years of age to participate.

Working smoke alarms can cut the risk of death from home fires in half. Experience this rewarding day connecting with other volunteers and the families you’ll help.

This will be a rewarding day installing smoke alarms and providing home fire safety education (all training provided)!
