We are Autism Rocks and Rolls Corporation, a 501c3 Nonprofit out of Greene/Monroe County. Our autism advocacy work started with a simple podcast started by my son, Sam Mitchell, who has autism himself. It has grown into a full-fledged nonprofit, while Sam is a podcaster, Executive Director, TEDX speaker, international speaker, blogger, writer, and event planner. We believe that autism is a talent and our mission is show the world what autism is and what it isn't.
We will be having an event on August 5, 2023, at Fowler Pumpkin Patch in Bloomington, IN. We need 20-25 volunteers to work shifts: noon-3, 3-5, and then 5-8, 8-10 (clean up). If interested, I will send you the sign-up sheet. I am looking for people to help with parking, serving food, admission, setting and cleaning up, and helping out with games.
