The Indiana Limestone Symposium will host a free community open house from 12-4 p.m. on Saturday, May 29 at Karst Farm Park to showcase the art of carving limestone. Folks can watch artists carve Indiana limestone and get a chance to try carving themselves.
Opportunities to volunteer include:
- Set up from 10am to noon. Setting up tents, tables, chairs, displays, etc.
- Work at the greeter's table from 12 to 4pm. Passing out cards about the Limestone Symposium and maintaining a volunteer sign up sheet.
- Assist in managing the carving area and the shelter area from 12 to 4pm. Directing visitors in those areas.
- Tear down from 4pm to 5 or 6pm. Pack up tents, tables, chairs, displays, etc.
