Volunteers needed to help with registration, golfing mini games, set up, and clean up at Salt Creek Golf Retreat on September 20th.
LIFEDesigns promotes independence and community employment for people with disabilities. This event is a fundraising event for our programs and will provide revenue which helps bridge the gap in funding provided by medicaid. LIFEDesigns is only reimbursed for about 85% of the actual cost of providing services to our clients. This leaves a gap of about $400,000 each year that we must fundraise in order to continue providing life skills training, community employment supports, and more.
This event relies on volunteers to assist with set up of tee hole signs, registration area, and gifts for golfers. Volunteers are also needed as witnesses to the "hole in one" and longest drive holes, putting contest. At the end we all help with clean up together!
Volunteers are requested for the entire length of the event, but if you can only attend for part of the event please contact us there may still be an opportunity to help.
Event set up begins at 10:00 am at Salt Creek Golf Resort. Estimated time after clean up is about 6:00 pm. We do request that all volunteers stay until everything is cleaned and loaded in vehicles.
