Have you ever wondered how the Bloomington Community Orchard works, wanted to learn some sustainable/organic orcharding skills, and/or wanted to make more friends while volunteering outside?
Ahead of our Spring Work & Learn Days resuming in April (4/5, 1-4pm), we’re offering a Work & Learn Day Leader Training on Saturday, March 29th from 1-3pm, to help interested community members learn more about how an organic orchard is cultivated. This will also be a refresher/training to learn how to help lead weekly Orchard Work & Learn Days throughout the growing season. We will provide all the tools, supplies, and instructions, and we ask that community members dress appropriately to do outdoor work and bring water to stay hydrated.
