In terms of community involvement, he is a volunteer at Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, and the president of the Sigma Kappa Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
Dedric explains how such volunteer opportunities have helped him build a strong sense of community and purpose. He emphasizes the importance of building community, as those are the people that one can lean on in times of need. He also emphasizes that no matter big or little, every volunteer effort makes a difference, and each small effort adds up to create real, meaningful change in communities.
