About Us

The H2H Sale is an annual reuse program that diverts reusable items left by IU students in dormitories each spring to local nonprofit organizations. We are open to other ways to transfer reusable items to community members and to prevent additional resource consumption. We work with local nonprofit groups ranging from the animal shelter and Teachers Warehouse to Middle Way House and the Shalom Community Center.

What We Do

H2H brings together hundreds of volunteers and provides needed goods to local nonprofits.

H2H aims to intercept reusable items that would otherwise end up in the landfill from IU dormitories, Greek houses, and off-campus student housing. Items will be collected starting in late April/early May during the student move-out, primarily from the dormitories and Greek housing. The program is entirely volunteer-powered, and we always need lots of willing volunteers, ages 16 and up!
