About Us
Sycamore Land Trust is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to preserve the beauty, health, and diversity of southern Indiana’s natural landscape through strategic land conservation and environmental education. Since 1990, we have been preserving land, restoring habitat, and connecting people to nature in southern Indiana.
What We Do
Find nature preserves to hike, discover a new habitat, and share the great outdoors with family and friends! Sycamore owns and cares for over 10,500 acres of land on more than 125 protected properties. Our Environmental Education program provides free nature education for thousands of students of all ages and we maintain over 30 miles of hiking trails on 13 preserves for free public use.
