PAX - Program of Academic Exchange

PAX provides global education and exchange opportunities for students, host families, schools, and communities to open doors, embrace cultures, and become family.

PAX finds every day American families willing to host, feed and love/support an international high school exchange student from one of 70 different countries. PAX coordinators provide 24/7 support for host families, our exchange students and local schools to ensure a wonderful experience.  PAX builds international families...creates beautiful memories and builds a better world one interpersonal relationship at a time! PAX teaches that no matter our nationality, race or religion, we all smile the same way!

PAX students also participate in leadership and volunteer work. Most students complete at least 20 volunteer hours and many above and beyond 100!  Our students participate in Global Youth Service Day and many go home to become leaders in their home countries and governments-making change for the better thanks to their experience in America!
